Years ago, the phrase “the art of life” awakened in us an imagination of life with Him. This art is practiced in the three most significant relationships that shape our lives. These are our relationship with Him, with each other and with our world.

In the Mosaïek family, we embark on this journey together:

1. Mosaïek – the Afrikaans congregation that currently serves as the base for all activities in the family. We meet each person where they are, offering opportunities unique to each individual’s journey.

2. Origins – 2. Origins – our retreat space. Over the past year, 1,500 people have attended retreats, and more people outside the Mosaïek family are showing interest. We dream of meeting people where they are and offering diverse retreat experiences for various phases of the faith journey.

3. eMosaic – our online presence, serving two key groups:
Digital natives – people who may never visit the physical congregation but view online content as their primary spiritual nourishment. Hybrids – individuals who frequently attend in person services and experiences but also find significant value in online content.

4. Mosaic – As part of the family, this congregation will share the same ethos and philosophy as the rest of the family. The team is being built, with Tarine de Ridder serving full-time on the leadership team and Jose Crosson focusing primarily on worship and service experiences. We trust the Lord for an additional leader for this team, as well as someone to focus on youth ministry.

To achieve this, we commit ourselves to the good works He is calling us to. Perhaps you feel moved to dedicate yourself to His good works – offering your time and energy to help build the Kingdom of God alongside the Mosaiek family. Pray about it – it could be one of the most significant growth experiences of your life.

Stories in our midst

As new members of Mosaiek Church, we’ve found our spiritual home.

Everyone here is unpretentious, and genuinely kind. Within a month, we
were invited to a new members conversation and joined a Life group,
where we not only found new friends, but 4 AM emergency contacts.
Mosaiek is everything we were searching for.
We  absolutely love it here!

Seven years ago I decided to join the kids’ ministry to give back and spend time
with my daughter as she grows in her journey of faith. What started as a way to spend time with my daughter and contribute to the
community has turned into a profound personal growth experience.
What truly makes this experience special is the sense of community. Mosaïek
isn’t just a place to show up on Sunday; it’s a supportive, loving family that lifts
each other up. I’ve met wonderful people who have become friends, shared
countless laughs, and found solace in times of need.

It’s been a road filled with joy, love and faith.
I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

The Praxis group is a bit of an oasis for me.  It feels a like when you are on a
hiking trail, and you’ve just climbed a steep hill, and then you reach a viewpoint
where you stop for a moment to marvel at the landscape and take it all in.

When you think about it, we’re really just a group of people who commit to becoming still before the Lord at a set time – turning toward Him in the silence as a group.
And doing that with other people just brings a kind of depth to the experience that I wouldn’t have on my own. I think it also makes me more faithful in sticking to the rhythm of daily prayer, rather than
becoming busy and caught up in my everyday things.

Hi, my name is Joyce. I’m 58 years old. I’m living here in Zandspruit from 1999. I look after my sister’s child. my sister’s child is a CP (Cerebral Palsy). She can’t walk, she can’t do anything. I’m taking her to the hospital. I put her on my back because there’s no road. We’re even struggling with the wheelchair. I love her so much; we’re supposed to love our children like
this. The nice thing is, we also get love from Emthonjeni. They call us, we have meetings there. We share the problems and the struggles we have.
I’m so grateful for these projects and all the support
